Uniform
The school has a uniform policy that has been developed by our P&C and endorsed by the School Board. The uniform meets the guidelines of Sun Smart policies and is designed to be attractive and comfortable. The school colours are red and blue. The specific items for the Primary Sector and Secondary Sector are listed below.
Second Hand Uniform Shop
The Amaroo P&C operates a Second Hand Uniform Shop to enable parents to purchase uniforms for their children for K to 10. The prices are very reasonable with second hand uniforms costing $5.00 and second hand uniform with no school logo for just $1.00. The Uniform Shop and the Canteen also sell brand new plain red hats for students in Years K to 6 for $8.00.
The Second Hand Uniform shop is located in the main administration building and the opening hours are:
Uniform Shop Hours:
- Tuesday afternoons between 2.45 pm and 3.15 pm
- Friday mornings between 8.45 am and 9.15 am.
Donations of good quality second hand uniforms are always welcome and can be dropped off at the Uniform Shop or the front office. All money raised from the Uniform Shop goes to the P&C to help support our School.
New Uniforms can be purchased from Lowes in Gungahlin.
