School Information A-Z
PE and Pl@y Program
All students participate in a health and physical activity program throughout the week. This program is designed to help students identify and adopt a healthy lifestyle and promote physical activity. As a part of the program, senior students take part in the Active Australia program and lead activities for younger students. The Pl@y program offers structured play activities at lunchtime, led by staff and Active Australia leaders.
Positive parent partnerships are critical to our success. Recent research indicates that parent involvement in their children's education has a significant and positive effect on educational outcomes. Your child's teacher will contact you in the first week of school to introduce themselves and invite you to a parent meeting early in the year. We encourage you to contact your child's teacher if you have any queries or concerns. There are many ways in which you can become involved in your child's school: from participation in the P&C, School Board, Canteen, school productions, volunteering in the classroom, going on excursions or attending learning journeys.
